Important information for patients
Waiting times & pick-up
We do our best to keep waiting times as short as possible.
The busiest times are usually between 16:00 and 17:30.
If possible, come outside these times to be helped faster.
Do you want to avoid waiting time? Then use our repeat service (see below) and make sure that your email address and (mobile) phone number are known to us. If you have received a message from us, we can help you faster at the express counter.
Ticket column: how it works
When you enter, you register via the ticket column. You choose one of the following options:
A. Pick up medication
B. Care partners
C. You have received a text message or email
D. Self-care medication/Over-the-counter medication (without a prescription)
H. Medication roll (Baxter)
Then take a seat in the waiting room. Your number will appear on the screen, together with the counter number where you will be helped.
Please note:
Option C is intended if you have already received a message (email/text message) that your medication is ready.
Option A is for when you arrive without notification; your prescription still needs to be prepared, which may take a little longer.
Request a repeat prescription
Register for our repeat prescription service so that your chronic medication is ready on time. For new, temporary and high-risk medication, the repeat prescription must go through the doctor.
Make sure that your name and address details (name, address, place of residence) are correct.
When you visit the pharmacy, we may ask you for this to register you correctly in the system. This way, you will automatically receive a message as soon as your medication is ready.
Return of medicines
Do you have unused or expired medication?
Please return it safely to the pharmacy on your next visit.
Never throw medication in the bin, sink or toilet – this is harmful to the environment.
Registration fee for tourists
From April 1, 2025, a registration fee of $15 will apply to new registrations at the pharmacy.
This fee does not apply to:
- Temporary residents (passers-by)
- Persons with a Sedula
Emergency medication & night service
Outside regular opening hours, emergency medication is provided via the GP post and the Emergency Department.
The pharmacy is then on standby to support emergency care.
